Verdict

Curiosity has a penalty for a narrow but convincing victory over 6f at Newcastle after a very promising debut at Newbury. He'll be suited by the extra but the weight concession to JACK REGAN may prove beyond him. Charlie Hills' colt was well supported at Newmarket a fortnight ago and ran well enough behind Tadleef to suggest he would take some beating next time. Perfect Hustler ran that same day at Windsor and stayed on nicely after missing the break while the once-raced trio of Preacher Man, Serjeant Painter and Puchita are all capable of making enough progress to make their presence felt.
