SALUTI ran well in three starts at Kempton at the backend of last year and reappeared to land a Newmarket maiden on good to soft ground in convincing style. He makes his handicap debut and could prove better than a 79-rated performer so gets the nod. Manton Grange landed a minor Leicester handicap but couldn't follow up at this level at Windsor and is another 3lb higher. Fieldsman hasn't won since last May but is 5lb lower here and Shelley Birkett's claim will help. My Dad Syd has been running consistently well since scoring at Newbury in October and should get into the action under Silvestre De Sousa but Fox Trotter was engaged to run at Newmarket yesterday.
