In depth

Verdict

ADDIS ABABA made a winning start over a mile here when the re-opposing Glasses Up was well beaten. The latter has subsequently won over 1m2f so the form looks solid enough and David O’Meara’s charge can defy a penalty. Good Boy Alfie made a winning start on the all-weather but could only manage third at Ripon last time and Sajanjl is preferred, despite a modest debut at Goodwood, given her trainer has won with two of only three runners here since 2015.
