      Verdict

      Favourite for a slightly stronger contest at Goodwood on debut, the Bungle Inthejungle filly JUNGLE JUICE who is a half-sister to a couple of winners, was only beaten a head with the winner having got first run – she’ll likely be a short price to recoup losses. Amadeus Grey had his first run in a hot contest at York and wasn’t entirely disgraced. He’ll know more today while Izvestia made a promising start when third at Lingfield. Firewater may improve for the extra furlong but still needs more.
