ALFRED RICHARDSON won over an extended mile at Beverley a year ago and is only 2lb higher. There’s a good chance that he’ll show more dropping back from 1m4f and he gets the nod in a modest handicap. Maghfoor met interference last time at Chester but still wasn’t beaten far. He races off the same mark today so has every chance of picking up the winning thread again but Shamrokh has yet to win on Turf. Fleetfoot Jack has only won on soft going so far but is running well enough to get involved again. Freud is having a first run on Turf in this country.
