Verdict

The presence of Love Oasis at the head of the weights reflects the quality of this contest as she's yet to place in any of her five starts. Her best run by far came on her third outing when beaten just under five lengths at Listed level at York but the daughter of Oasis Dream has not built on that in two subsequent runs. She may still prove good enough but LITTLE NOSEGAY is preferred in receipt of 13lb from the Johnson topweight. She stepped up on a third placing in a modest Goodwood seller to post her best run to date when only beaten a head in a Lingfield nursery this month and looks to be going the right way. Big Lachie has a definite claim on his debut third behind Bin Battuta but was last of nine on his latest outing so Irish Melody could prove more suitable shortlist material.
