Verdict

BALLET CONCERTO was never in contention on his return to action over 1m2f at Windsor. Sir Michael Stoute has an impressive strike rate at the track and much better is expected over today’s trip on last year’s second at Kempton to Abe Lincoln, now rated 92. Sehayli had gone close at Chester before a poor effort last time while Western Way was still beaten four lengths when runner-up at Nottingham. Frankster went close over 6f at Pontefract in October and makes his seasonal debut while La Contessa and Percy Verence are both related to winners and are newcomers to note.
