Soft ground may have been a legitimate excuse for Colourfilly finishing tailed off at Chester last time. She had won at Haydock before that while Cabal won four times last year though has looked high enough in the weights this season. Courier has yet to win anywhere in 21 attempts now and Make On Madam seems to save her best for Beverley. Mrs Biggs is usually thereabouts without being good enough and a similar comment applies to ADIATOR, but the latter still gets another chance here after going close at Catterick last week off today’s mark.
