In depth

Verdict

CILENTO won a Wolverhampton maiden then an Ascot handicap for John Gosden earning a rating of 85 before transferring to Ireland where he's failed lamentably in three outings over hurdles. The fact that Pat Smullen has been booked speaks volumes and his mount is taken to put those runs over timber behind him. Emperor Bob is the second highest rated in the line-up but 16lb behind the selection and conceding 3lb. He's won here in the past but was well beaten in a similar event at Fairyhouse last time. Touch Of Frost finished in front of him at Fairyhouse but is having his first start on this surface and though Indian Tomahawk has won twice here he's finished last in his four latest starts on Turf. The versatile Specific Gravity can do best of the remainder.
