In depth

Verdict

Waveline showed promise on her Lingfield debut earlier this month but Brian Meehan's filly was very green that day and may need more experience so preference is for Little Pete, with Nestor Protector rated the pick of the remainder. The selection stepped up on his debut effort when successful at Kempton last time and he looks the one to be on judged by that effort. Roger Charlton's Midnight Fling is nicely bred but may be suited by further so looks best watched, while Sauze d'Oulx faces no easy task giving weight away all round. Ralph Beckett's Fox's Den ran promisingly on his debut and has to be respected although a bigger threat may come from Warwick winner Nestor Protector. Little Pete looks one to keep on the right side of though and he is preferred.
