Verdict

COTE D'AZUR has received an 8lb rise for completing a double at York but can race here with a 6lb penalty. He looked to have plenty in hand on the Knavesmire and a hat-trick beckons. Both Melendez and Frozen Force were behind the selection at Chelmsford earlier and are better off at the weights but appear unlikely to reverse the form. Lady Blanco came here for a minor handicap last week and had no problems landing the spoils on fast ground. She's gone up 7lb but looks to be on the upgrade so should give the selection a race.
