Verdict

Gordon Elliott has a strong hand with Automated, who was placed on the Flat here on Tuesday, and Chatham House Rule, who has been chasing but proved himself a useful young hurdler last year. Baby Jake was sent to Cartmel to score earlier this month and looks nicely treated with Rachael Blackmore's claim a bonus but this can go to HEARTBREAK CITY. A useful staying handicapper on the Flat, he came good over timber at Tipperary where he looked to have a bit in hand and probably has more to offer. Prickly has been in good form on the level and suffered interference on his last start over hurdles so he's another for the short-list.
