Verdict

With almost a third of these set to race from out of the weights, it can pay to look towards the top of the racecard - with the in-form LA CAPRIOSA forwarded as the best option. Diane's Choice, Wibadune and Mey Blossom also arrive here in good form and merit consideration. Mey Blossom has dropped to a very attractive mark and, having shown more sparkle of late, this daughter of Captain Rio shouldn't underestimated. Wibadune and Diane's Choice are closely matched from their encounter at Bath last week; and it will be an interesting rematch between them on these terms. Diane's Choice convincingly held court last time, though. And she is fancied to confirm her superiority today. However, La Capriosa has been equally impressive of late and, as he holds experience of racing at Beverley, Jeremy Glover's charge just edges the vote to be the leading player this afternoon.
