Verdict

A tight contest where IRON OUT might be capable of getting back to winning ways, while Fujin Dancer, Danehillsundance, General Tufto and Nisaal are all considered. The last-named has been finding winning difficult and remains a maiden after 18 starts. All ground comes alike to him but he just lacks toe at the finish and will probably be found wanting again. Fujin Dancer was in cracking form in the spring until the handicapper caught up with him, but he will surely get competitive on ground that suits, while Danehillsundance has twice won here over a mile and just about gets home over this far, though he will have to ridden with patience by Robert Winston. General Tufto is 3lbs higher than a course and distance success last month and is entitled to be bang there again, though we will side with Iron Out. Reg Hollinshead's gelding has a fast ground turf win to his name, even though he is better known for his exploits on the Polytrack. His run last time in a very competitive York handicap was very good form to come here with and he can reward his supporters.
