    Verdict

A wide open finale, with preference being for SUMMER LODGE, ahead of Shaylee and Dimashq. He's been the model of consistency, even with a switch of yard and was runner-up last time out when making his debut for Jeremy Glover after moving from Alan McCabe. A win and three seconds in his last four outings have shown that after so long in the doldrums he's perhaps rediscovered his enthusiasm for racing. Shaylee and Fossgate are the only course and distance winners in the field; Shaylee's success was earlier in the month in a lower class contest, but she's been raised 18 pounds for it. However, at this grade she looks very competitive still. Fossgate's not won for nearly a year and is now racing off a career low mark. Dimashq has a great attitude and won a similar contest last time out at Catterick and a repeat performance could see her back in the winners' enclosure. However, our support goes with Summer Lodge.
