Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

El Coto heads our short-list from Lets Cast Again and Sienna Storm. The selection has run well on all three starts over hurdles, including over course and distance, and his form just about sets the standard here. The booking of Paul Moloney is a positive and he's good enough to win a race of this nature. Lets Cast Again has shown a modicum of ability in bumpers but he hails from an up and coming yard whose runners always deserve a second look. They have a good strike rate when Johnson rides and it would be no surprise to see him go well. Sienna Storm has played the bridesmaid on three of his four starts over timber and this former runner in the Derby should also have a say in the outcome of this contest. George Moore and Noel Wilson have good strike rates here with their hurdlers and support for Spirit Of Ecstacy or Boxhall should be noted but we prefer the proven claims of El Coto.
