Verdict

ACE OF SPIES races mostly on the all-weather nowadays though he can boast three previous wins on turf. He's been in good form at Southwell recently and has leading claims in this if running up to the same level. Northern Bolt won over C&D last season off a 5lb lower mark and makes a quick reappearance after finishing fourth at Thirsk on Saturday while Spirit Of Coniston has scored four times here over the minimum trip, but has yet to win at any track over today's distance. Prince James and Greenhead High were both successful at Wolverhampton over the winter but have lost their way of late.
