      In depth

      Verdict

A tough race to call with several unexposed fillies making their handicap debuts. HERMOSITA is one of that group and won a novices' race at Redcar last time when beating a subsequent winner with Amandine back in third. She’s just preferred to Homeopathic, placed at Goodwood recently with Ryan Moore taking over the reins today and making more appeal than Cheveley Park’s other runner Clubbable. Natural was highly-tried last year and finished just in front of Homeopathic at Goodwood while Crossing The Line is another novice race winner to consider. Tivoli was progressing well on the all-weather before struggling in Listed company at Nottingham while Rebel Assault is a more exposed type stepping up to 7f for the first time.
