    Verdict

Ace Ventura ended last year with a victory in testing going at Salisbury while Dive For Gold came good at the same track last month. Both are penalised today to the advantage of DRILL (NAP). who steps up in trip after finishing runner-up here last time with Ryan Moore partnering the Cumani colt today. The latter is also preferred to Court Of Justice, who returns to action after going close at Ascot in September, while Alhram is a half-brother to five winners and preferred to the Godolphin filly Parting Clouds of the newcomers.
