Verdict

Firmament is upped a grade off a 4lb higher mark having won at Newcastle recently and Strong Steps is preferred with an apprentice taking 5lb off her back. But Clive Cox did a fine job getting CAPE ICON (NAP) to win at Kempton last month considering that was his first start since 2014 and the unexposed five-year-old can go close again. Major Crispies is getting closer and preferred to Passing Star as the latter steps up in distance but Bold Prediction is not badly treated as he returns to the all-weather.
