        Verdict

        BURCAN made a winning start at Kempton and found only one too good over course and distance on his handicap debut. He should be in the mix once again with further progress expected. Intrude won a higher grade contest at Wolverhampton back in February and Perfect Cracker scored at the same track earlier this year. Emerald was beaten only a length off a similar mark here in April and can figure but Street Artist will find this tougher than the plating races he has been winning lately. Ladurelli won his maiden over track and trip but was well beaten on his recent reappearance.
