Verdict

Meritocracy was sent for a conditions race in France last time but failed to land the odds. His earlier maiden win at Kempton doesn't look any stronger than the race EMPEROR'S HOPE won at Salisbury last month and the latter is preferred. Richard Hannon's filly found life tough in a Class 2 event on her latest start but should take care of the modest M'Selle and can make the most of the weight concession from Meritocracy to land this.
