    Verdict

    There may only be four runners in this but all have been in decent form lately. Blakeney Point stayed on strongly stepped up to 2m at Kempton. He's 5lb higher here but looks to be an improving stayer. Hereawi is trying a longer trip for the first time and has only won on soft going so far but she has valuable course experience having scored over 1m4f here in July. CLEAR EVIDENCE has improved markedly since given a test of stamina. He's won two of his last three and seems to prefer small fields - Edward Greatrex' claim could be a telling factor here. Masterson needs to step up again but has won over the trip at Newcastle recently.
