In depth

Verdict

Queen In Waiting steps up in trip and there should be more to come from the lightly-raced three-year-old. But she was out-battled last time and has questions to answer at the moment, while Southern Belle went close in a good race at York last time, but may struggle to be competitive from her new mark. Pixeleen doesn’t win often but she has been in good heart this season, going close in a couple of Listed contests before showing plenty of fight to win a race at Bath, but in a competitive race, ROSE BERRY could be the answer. She has been in sparkling form, winning two of her last three and might have fared better when meeting trouble in running over course and distance back in May. Turanga Leela could still have some improvement in her and has each-way claims, as have The Wagon Wheel and Avon Breeze.
