Verdict

VALENTINO BOY got off the mark over course and distance last time, showing plenty of determination to hold off Right Action. With more improvement to come, he can prevail against his more exposed rival on more or less the same terms. Proud Archi ran well at Beverley earlier in the month, but needs some help from the handicapper, while neither Tailor's Row nor Plant Pot Power have shown anything so far this season. Kryptos ran poorly at Newmarket but may appreciate this sharper track and is an interesting contender on his handicap debut.
