A competitive handicap and any number have chances, including a host of performers very much at home around this tight track. Pintura, Grissom, Kyllachy Star and Louis The Pious finished first, second, fourth and sixth here in a similar contest at the Chester Cup meeting and it's hard to split them now, although it would not surprise to see the latter pair get much closer on this ground and on revised terms. Viva Ronaldo has landed three of his five career wins here and was most impressive at the Cup meeting. He must go well from the number two stall but ETON FOREVER is taken to outclass the plethora of course specialists if handling his first visit to the track. Fifth in the Lincoln, he has competed strongly in top-class handicap company over the past year and isn't at all badly treated despite conceding weight all round.
