Verdict

This is a competitive looking handicap and Ovthenight is nominated as our pick over Millie's Rock and Precision Break. Pam Sly's colt beat Paddy Reilly last time and this lightly-raced 3-year-old looks to be on an upward curve. He shows a good attitude in his races and he looks one to stay on the right side of at present. Millie's Rock is another who scored last time out but Mark Wallace's filly was all-out to win at Yarmouth and she could be vulnerable today under her penalty. Precision Break is chasing the hat-trick and he remains unexposed, but he has shaped as though he could be seen to better effect over a slightly longer trip. Trip The Light is another who has a penalty today and the drop in trip is not sure to suit him. A good race this which can go the way of Ovthenight.
