Verdict

It was soft ground when DEEP RESOLVE finished third at Redcar. With improvement expected stepping up in trip and one of the leading amateurs on board, he gets the nod. Newgate Queen was also placed in testing ground at Newcastle last time and today's rider can claim 7lb while Lightning Shower and Come On Sunshine should both handle today's underfoot conditions. Alex Ferguson rode a few winners last season and he'll be hoping Enquiring returns to form for this.
