After a couple of reasonable runs over timber, Badgerfort won a Cork bumper in very easy fashion and is progressive enough to make his presence felt. However, MARTELLO TOWER looks a smart prospect having won three of his four career starts and was only beaten 6l in a Listed hurdle for novices in the other. That should be good enough for this as Some Drama doesn't appear to have made progress and Punchestown bumper winner Railway Tommy has a long absence to overcome. Colm Murphy does well with his point-to-point horses so the easy Ballydarragh winner Clondaw Dude is one to note for the future.
