Verdict

A competitive contest where WOOTTON BASSETT may provide the right answer for punters, while Forjatt and Nasharra appear to be the main dangers. The Richard Fahey-trained pick impressed when taking an Ayr maiden over this trip and on fast ground, with the front pair pulling well clear of the remainer. With conditions again to his liking, and both the yard and pilot full of confidence at present we will side with him to build on that and follow-up. Forjatt also scored on debut at Nottingham on quick ground and he will be a formidable opponent. On balance, the strength of that race was perhaps not as high as the one taken by the selection, but Michael Jarvis may be able to elicit plenty of improvement. Nasharra landed a Leicester maiden first up before being out of his depth in Listed company. This won't be quite so tough and he should be thereabouts. Last Destination will need to do more than when winning at Beverley and Redcar scorer Bay Of Fires looks a better proposition back in this company from a Group 3. An interesting contest can go to Wootton Bassett.
