Verdict

Harvey's Hope won at Southwell in the summer but has been well beaten on the Flat and over hurdles since. Lexington Bay has an obvious chance as he's won five times on the level up to 1m6f, most recently at York last month. Richard Fahey's newcomer is preferred to Roman Flight, who returns from a break, and bumper winner Forward Flight but GOD'S OWN could be a dangerous rival. Tom George's four-year-old, already placed between the flags and in a bumper, can finally get his head in front today. Inside Knowledge wasn't beaten far on the Fibresand earlier this month but his strike rate on the level is a bit off-putting.
