In depth

Verdict

Sun Cloud got off the mark over a similar distance at Wetherby earlier in the month and has to go on the short-list here, despite a 10lb higher mark. Zakatal doesn't look badly treated back over hurdles and is fit from the Flat but Victor Hewgo was raised 15lb after winning at Uttoxeter in July and was well beaten back in novice company last time. ZEFOOHA has never won over this trip but she's done enough to suggest she'll stay on this relatively flat track, winning over 2m2f on the level at Pontefract last month. Tim Walford's mare gets the nod with Chepstow third Kellystown Lad looking the pick of the remainder.
