      Verdict

It could be a decent day for Tom George and Paddy Brennan as CELTIC INTRIGUE wouldn't need to improve much on his second at Bangor to go one better here, despite a 5lb higher mark. Boomtown is on a hat-trick after victories at Wincanton and Stratford but has shot up the weights while Gwladys Street appears to have two ways of running and was a long way behind former pointer Royal Deal at Wetherby earlier this month in a race in which One For Luck was pulled up. Kingaroo won a three-runner race here on the Flat in the summer but he usually reserves his best for the Fibresand.
