Verdict

DANZ GIFT has really found his form and followed his victory here at the beginning of the month with another over Kimbay a fortnight ago. The runner-up advertised the form last week so Sheila Lavery's charge can complete a hat-trick despite a massive 15lb rise in the weights. Kimbay had just a nose to spare over Fast In The Wind a week ago but that was over an extra furlong and the runner-up would probably have won over this trip. Burren View Lady was made to work hard for her victory at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, while Chiclet was a very disappointing favourite here on the same day though that wasn't her form. Calm Bay has won seven times in a long career and is still capable of scoring from this lowly mark.
