      Verdict

Tartini has run in two Derby trials since his Nottingham maiden success and is dropped in class. His run here in April can probably be overlooked given the traffic problems he encountered. Drochaid was all out to hold on in a lesser contest at Chelmsford and may find this too hot, and while Emenem showed significant improvement to win here in April, he looks vulnerable to less exposed types. Hajaj is a danger assuming he handles the step up in trip, but preference is for DESERT SKYLINE, who battled on well to finish a close second in a Listed race at Newmarket last time, having being held up in a slowly-run contest.
