Verdict

Martabot only found one too good over a slightly shorter trip here earlier in the month and can race off the same mark today - he should be winning soon. Baccalaureate has been in good form around here recently but is creeping up the weights. Galactic Power looks to follow up his Catterick victory and should be thereabouts off only a 3lb higher mark while Steel City is well treated on his best form and is another to consider. Noel Fehily teamed up with MAGICAL THOMAS for the first time at Wincanton and an improved performance followed. He is unexposed and won on a fast surface on the Flat so is expected to be suited here. The Kings Writ is another who still has time on his side.
