Verdict

Ciceron is on a long losing run but was only beaten half-a-length at Southwell on his latest start. Present Accepted beat Trillerin Minella over a shorter trip here two weeks ago but the runner-up is now 8lb better off. Key People and Peterbrown step out of point-to-points into a much bigger pond and it's significant that Tom O'Brien, who could have ridden the latter, instead sticks with PADDY THE STOUT. Paul Henderson's 11-year-old got back to winning ways at Fontwell last week and should be prominent again, despite his penalty, as most of the opposition have questions to answer including Gardiners Hill and the first-time blinkered Forgivienne.
