In depth

Verdict

Deauville Dancer, a winning stayer on the Flat, hasn't progressed over hurdles as expected since a debut second behind the smart Winter's Escape at Doncaster and may be worth opposing again. Misty Mai held off WEST TORR (NAP) here last month but the second made a costly error at the last that day when challenging. On 7lb better terms, he should be turning the tables on Dai Rees' mare. Megabucks will appreciate the switch to hurdling after a fifth in a bumper here on his debut under Rules and is worth a market check.
