    Verdict

Letham Island lost no caste in defeat when chasing home Ten A Penny on her reappearance and handicap debut at Beverley recently and is taken to go one better here at the main expense of Doubly Guest and Beau Sancy. The last mentioned has claims on the pick of his form and has to be respected but may just be a shade high in the weights at present so looks best watched. Mud Monkey looks to be going the right way but a 4lb rise for his effort when second at Wolverhampton last time looks a touch harsh. Postsprofit is lightly raced but the handicapper has seemingly taken few chances with him on his handicap debut and of more interest may be Doubly Guest. George Margarson's filly was good value for her win at Pontefract when last seen in October but the yard's horses have not been in great form of late so she may be best watched. Letham Island remains handily treated and she is hard to oppose.
