Not an easy race to assess and it may be prudent to side with last-time winner MORESTEAD despite a sizeable 11lb rise. Brendan Powell's gelding took the race by the scruff of the neck and dominated, winning by 19 lengths. He stays this far and course form on this tricky track is always a plus, while the ground suits. Some Craic is best on fast ground, though he showed signs of a return to form on heavy last time, while Intac represents a yard that has won this twice in recent seasons, though his last few starts leave him with plenty now to prove. I'm The Decider has slipped to an attractive mark but may need further to be at his best, while Hereweareagain seemed to have plenty going for him last time but ran inexplicably badly and looks best watched at present.
