In depth

Verdict

Bumper winner Gold Ability made a very promising hurdling debut behind Zerashan at Downpatrick and the winner didn't let the form down here on Monday. Moiqen was Group class on the Flat but has taken a while to find his feet over timber. He's showed much improved form on his two latest starts and should go well. TOO SCOOPS won a Fairyhouse bumper in December and was making his debut over hurdles when just touched off by Maxim Gorky at Gowran. The winner ran a fine race in a handicap here on Monday and Henry De Bromhead's charge can take this. Ted Veale makes his hurdling debut but ran well in a couple of point-to-points and his form on the level suggests he should do well over timber.
