Verdict

TIGER ROLL looked a very smart prospect when completing a double on his initial runs over fences but didn't jump with the same fluency when tackling a longer trip at Killarney. He's taken to bounce back though this is no easy task as his stablemate Cecil Corbett was always travelling like a winner over 2m6f at Kilbeggan. Neverushacon was 13 lengths behind the selection at Ballinrobe but showed the benefit with an impressive victory at Limerick early this month. The very progressive hunter Hurricane Ben won a Ballinrobe handicap in fine style and started favourite at Killarney last time but didn't get going until too late. This longer trip and the likely strong gallop will play to his strengths. Xsquared has won twice on the level and twice over fences in recent weeks and jumped very well to beat Akito at Limerick, though the runner-up is 3lb better off and arrives in excellent form.
