Verdict

It may be worth taking a punt on Dispatch Box ahead of the likes of Palmetto Point and Scripted. The selection has yet to run in this country but did win one of his three starts in France and is an interesting acquisition. This Juddmonte cast off was sold cheaply following a poor run in October but he has joined a shrewd operation and is starting out at a lowly level. Alan Munro does well for the yard and the market should show us the way. Palmetto Point progressed throughout last year and is likely to be ready to do himself justice on his return to action. He should be capable of better yet and should see out this trip. Scripted looked promising when running second at Lingfield but was below par last time and has something to prove on the back of that run; market confidence behind his chances would be encouraging. Paraguay rates a mention following an impressive win at Beverley but he has failed to win in four previous visits here and is likely to be plenty short enough following his success. A tricky contest to call but we'll take a shot in the dark and side with Dispatch Box.
