The 2010 renewal of the Swinton Hurdle looks competitive as ever but on a progressive run of form and chasing a four-timer we choose Donald McCain's OVERTURN ahead of Hunterview while Issaquah looks value for finishing in the places. The pick followed two facile successes in novice grade races with an easy victory in the Scottish Champion Hurdle last time. He showed no signs of stopping that day and may actually improve for the extra furlong here. Hunterview was a very easy winner in novice company on his last run performing better than he showed in a decent flat career. He's a little difficult to assess now in the handicap ranks but if running up to the form of that last run he'll have every chance. Issaquah will be up with the pace throughout and with a good strike rate is considered for minor prizes after a decent run in defeat at the Grand National meeting. Toubab has been improving in a handful of starts and should be weighted for a big run while Ciceron is also chasing a four timer but his handicap mark might be getting on the high side. A really tight renewal this but Overturn is on a roll and he might not have stopped yet.
