This is a competitive finale that can go the way of Nanard, with Not For Diamonds and Firstflor the others to consider. The selection is making his handicap debut tonight and we think he could be well treated for it. He was well beaten last time but this race is framed more to his liking and he should go well. Not For Diamonds will be the one to take advantage if he fails to fire tonight as he is a course and distance winner and he again has his ground conditions. Firstflor shaped encouragingly here last time but the simple truth is he has failed to win since landing a bumper in 2003 and he is not one to place maximum faith in. Kiama is from a yard that merits respect in these type of events and he should be noted in the market, but this could be a good opportunity for Nanard and he is taken to land the nightcap.
