KELTUS reverts to fences after unseating his rider over hurdles at Kempton last time. That wasn't the ideal preparation but Paul Nicholls' only runner at the meeting would be a shoe-in in this if able to reproduce the form of his second to Royal Regatta at Newbury at the end of 2014. Central Flame is the likely danger on a couple of close-up seconds at Newcastle in February, though Emperor Sakhee has won a couple of bumpers here and Mister Spingsprong scored over hurdles at the track a couple of years ago. Make Me A Fortune has won three times over hurdles but has been lightly-raced over the last 12 months so is probably best watched today.
Central Flame 17-2 (10-11) Held up behind, pushed along before 4 out, ridden after 2 out, kept on same pace, never able to challenge, 5th of 7, 14 1/2l behind Silsol (11-12) at Kelso 3m 2f hcp (2) gs in Apr.
Emperor Sakhee 33-1 (11-5) Behind, fell 4th, at Doncaster 2m 4f mdn (5) gs in Jan.
Keltus (FR) 14-1 (11-8) Chased leaders, pushed along in 5th after 3 out, no impression when blundered and unseated rider 2 out, at Kempton 2m 5f hcp (2) gd in Mar.
Make Me A Fortune (IRE) 14-1 (11-12) Raced wide, held up, ridden 2 out, hit next, kept on towards finish, 4th of 7, 7 3/4l behind Cloudy Dream (11-5) at Market Rasen 2m 3f hcp (3) sft in Mar.
Mister Spingsprong (IRE) 16-1 (11-0) Tracked leaders and in touch, weakened from 3 out, last of 5, 27 1/2l behind Vibrato Valtat (11-7) at Warwick 2m (1) sft in Feb.
Wicklow Gold (FR) 40-1 (11-11) Towards rear, soon outpaced, struggling from halfway, soon pulled up, at Ayr 3m hcp (3) sft in Apr.
