Verdict

KELTUS reverts to fences after unseating his rider over hurdles at Kempton last time. That wasn't the ideal preparation but Paul Nicholls' only runner at the meeting would be a shoe-in in this if able to reproduce the form of his second to Royal Regatta at Newbury at the end of 2014. Central Flame is the likely danger on a couple of close-up seconds at Newcastle in February, though Emperor Sakhee has won a couple of bumpers here and Mister Spingsprong scored over hurdles at the track a couple of years ago. Make Me A Fortune has won three times over hurdles but has been lightly-raced over the last 12 months so is probably best watched today.
