Verdict

ARDEA appeared to have a similar race at Kelso earlier this month wrapped up when jinking and unseating Joe Wright at the last. He would have finished well ahead of eventual second Damiens Dilemma had he stood up, as well as Senor Alco, Whiteabbey and Farm Pixie and compensation awaits here with a clear round. The Highlander has won his last three between the flags so is likely to be the one to cash in if Justin Landy's gelding fails to complete.
