Tread carefully is the advice for this nursery, where Ananda Kanda and Ragsta are shortlist material, but we will tentatively suggest WHIPPERS LOVE. Mark Johnston's colt has not shown a huge amount in four maidens over five and six furlongs on turf, and now tries the Polytrack for the first time in public. There were signs last time at Ayr that the gelding has now got the hang of what is required, and this extra furlong and likely strong pace will help to bring his stamina into play. He has a very low mark for this nursery debut and can take advantage. Ananda Kanda stuck on well to take a Haydock maiden last time and she steps into this grade from a mark of 74. The extra furlong here is a definite positive and there is every chance that she could go close again. Ragsta was impressive enough when taking a Windsor seller and is not written off, especially with improvement entirely possible. However, this does look more competitive and she is worth taking on. Lingfield scorer Toga Tiger is another trying the Polytrack for the first time and 7f suits, though he does have a bit to prove after a thrashing at Warwick earlier in the month. Zinjbar is going the right way and is respected, but Whippers Delight is the suggestion tonight.
