        Verdict

        SOUNDBYTE has dropped to a mark 2lbs lower than when he scored over course and distance in April and he will appreciate the return to this trip, so he is selected to return to winning ways under Richard Hughes. It is probably significant that the pilot deserts Dansilver to board the selection. Tony Carroll's gelding carried the jockey when finishing over 11 lengths behind Leyte Gulf at Wolverhampton last time, although he should prove much better tonight as that was his first run after a lengthy break. Mixing goes well here and seemed to appreciate a similar trip at Folkestone last time, so could pick up more prize money, while this sizeable increase in trip could see Sir Mark in the mix.
