A competitive end to the evening and one where much will revolve around Global Village, who is taken on with INHERITOR. Bryan Smart's four-year-old is fitted with cheek pieces for the first time, has a good draw, and has dropped back to a mark below that which he went very close from over this trip at Wolverhampton in November, so he makes appeal. Global Village will take some stopping if he is ready to do himself justice after a summer break. He is up 6lbs in trying to complete a four-timer. Saharia goes well here and at the trip so is entitled to be thereabouts, while Hazzard County is just 3lbs higher than his latest course and distance win but he does need everything to drop right.
